The purpose is to check the quality of solderings iether side of each pins of the connector, and also at the metall rods, portions masked by the assembly visually non-controllable.
This exam by 3D XRay brings out the presence/absence of meniscus of brazing, homogeneity/inhomogeneity of brazings, the presence of excess of welding material along the metal rods, for example.
